About Me
My Background
The visual arts have been a focus throughout my life. After graduating from Millersville University with a degree in art education, I received my master's degree from West Chester University. I've been a high school art teacher for 25 years.
My Medium
Working with students gives me opportunities to work with a variety of art materials every day. Recently, my focus has been acrylic landscape painting, ceramic sculpture and illustration for my book ideas.
My Inspiration
My paintings are inspired by the undisturbed places found close to where I live in Pennsylvania. My sculpture is usually abstractions of organic forms. I also illustrate ideas for my books, one of which is in the process of publication.
